Prepared by: Kirsten Wilder, Adult Ministry
Thank you for your recent gift of $1,000 to the ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. In the Tigray region of northern Ethiopia, people are suffering. Violent conflict has forced hundreds of thousands to flee from their homes. Countless people are on the brink of starvation, and children are especially at risk. Samaritan’s Purse has airlifted special, nutrient-rich food packets that will feed 18,000 children for up to 30 days. We are also trucking in food staples to bless entire families – all in Jesus’ Name.
Your support makes it possible for our ministry to respond immediately in times of crisis, and to do the work God has called us to in more that 100 countries. I am deeply grateful for your partnership and prayer as we heed Paul’s encouragement in Galatians 6:9. “Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” May God bless you.
Dear Dr. Wilder and Faith Members,
On behalf of Meals on Wheels of Albuquerque, I would like to personally thank your congregation for your recent gift of $800, to be used for our Food Program. We are so honored that you have chosen our program and made this commitment to our clients. Please know that your generosity provides the foundation for the advancement of our mission: Nourishing bodies and spirits with balanced meals and friendship.
Shauna Frost, Executive Director
Faith Lutheran offers a big “Thank you!” to Brian Cochran and John Moore & Associates. This Albuquerque-based company blessed our congregation with a gift of a variety of office furniture pieces during their 2020 office transition. Several staff offices, as well as the entire front office area, have been upgraded and refreshed thanks to their generosity.
Blessed and Grateful,
FLC Pastors & Staff
